Selena joined Tjornehoj & Hack LLC in 2018 after earning her Juris Doctorate with a Natural Resources and Environmental Law Certificate from the University of New Mexico. Before attending law school, Selena worked first in litigation support and later as an environmental, safety and health paralegal at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Northern New Mexico. Selena’s interest in natural resources law, including oil and gas, grew during law school while she served as the Co-Editor in Chief of the Natural Resources Journal. As a student, Selena received a scholarship from the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and upon graduation she received the Albert E. Utton Award for excellence in natural resources law. Selena also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Montana. Go Griz!
