Kara joined Tjornehoj & Hack LLC after working as an intellectual property attorney in Denver, Colorado. Prior to her IP experience, she earned her law degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law. As a law student, Kara was the Student Director for the Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources law clinic, under the supervision of the Wyoming Attorney General's Natural Resources Department. As a student attorney, she worked in front of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conversation Commission and aided in numerous natural resources projects. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Religious Studies from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. She also studied Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Natural Resources at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Kara is an active Volunteer Income Tax Assistant with United Way.
